The reason Compassion Wyoming was founded:
In Cheyenne alone, there are over 400 registered lobbyists representing powerful interests.
Ranchers are represented by the Wyoming Stock Growers and Cattle Growers Associations.
The energy industry is represented by petroleum associations, and educators are represented by the Wyoming Education Association.
Compassion Wyoming was founded to ensure that incarcerated individuals also have a voice.
Our organization exists to conduct research, reach out to elected officials, engage with the media, and educate the public on issues related to incarceration, rehabilitation, and second-chance opportunities.
We work to be the voice for those who are incarcerated and often unheard in public policy discussions.

Our Mission
We are a nonprofit organization advocating for responsible and compassionate exit strategies for reformed Wyoming long-term offenders.
