Fundraise

Not everyone is called to go into prisons around the world physically – but everyone can do something to bring God’s love and hope to prisoners and their families. 

One way you can partner with us in our mission is to help raise funds to enable and accelerate the global movement of transforming prisoners’ lives, families and victims through the Gospel. 

Host a fundraising event or small gathering to introduce others to Compassion Wyoming International, our mission, and how they can support us. Event ideas include: 

  • Walk-a-Thon/5K
  • Auction/Yard Sale
  • Game or Sports Tournament
  • Concert

Advocate

It can be easy to dismiss the idea of caring for those who are incarcerated, but broken prison systems only perpetuate growing crime rates and prison populations. Millions of prisoners are held in crowded, debilitating conditions as they wait for trial. The system does not rehabilitate people who are convicted of crime so once released, most will re-offend within five years. 

There is a better way, and it starts with you. Join us in advocating for prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families, and victims of crime. 

We envision a future in which restorative justice or restorative-based solutions are the normal response to crime, something that will take changes in perspectives, policies and practices. You can take the first step in learning more by conducting individual or group studies around the following Bible Studies that include a lesson and reflection questions.
