What Has Compassion Wyoming Been Doing?
- July 21, 2024: Mark Corbett and Stephen Watt shared their testimony at Journey Church in Gillette, Wyoming
- Sept. 27, 2024: Directors Mark Corbett and Dan Fetsco met with Governor Gordon where they shared 6 reports published By Compassion Wyoming about the Parole Board system and commutations.
- Oct. 25, 2024: Offender Mark Corbett and victim/friend Stephen Watt shared their testimony with 3 Criminal Justice Classes at the University of Wyoming.
- Feb. 12, 2025: Compassion Wyoming Board members Dan Festco, Mark Corbett, and Ed Snell attended Governor’s annual Prayer Breakfast. Mark met with the Governor briefly about commutations for Wyoming prisoners.
- April 9th, 2025 Dan Fetsco, Compassion Wyoming board member, met with the public at the Casper college about his forthcoming book, “Cutting Life Short: A second look at life sentences” Dan discussed the significant growth in Lifers since the 1990’s in Wyoming (and lengthy sentences which are virtual lifers). And the impact on the citizens of Wyoming.

May 19, 2025: In Atlanta, Georgia, Compassion Wyoming Directors Mark Corbett and Dan Fetsco spoke with Wyoming Board of Parole member, Lori Garrison, at a workshop advocating Second Chances at the 2025 Annual Training Conference for APAI (Association of Patroling Authorities International).
Along with Dan, Mark, and Lori speaking at this workshop via Zoom, was Daniel Landsman, Vice President of Policy for Families for Justice Reform.

June 19, 2025: Compassion Wyoming Board member, Dan Fetsco, and released offender, Tommy Rivera, gave a presentation to the Wyoming Joint Symposium on Children and Youth at Laramie. This was a statewide training event in the movement to present and end crimes against children.
- June 28, 2025: Compassion Wyoming director, Ed Snell, and former inmate, Tommy Rivera, went to the Colorado State Penitentiary at Sterling to share the Gospel with the Bill Glass “Behind the Walls” ministry.
